The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) of the Northeast Service Unit provides the consortium of northeastern Minnesota colleges with information and analysis for use in:
Institutional Assessment
Strategic Planning
Policy and Decision Making
Accreditation
Grant Writing
This is accomplished through the collection and reporting of institutional data, the conducting and analyzing of surveys, and other research activities. The Institutional Research Office plays a major role in developing a "culture of evidence" for use in maintaining institutional effectiveness.
